Djan Djan consisted of Mamadou Diabate a master kora player; Bobby Singh, one of Australia's leading tabla players and Jeff Lang, an internationally renowned masterful guitarist. Dya Singh, a renowned world music group, base their music on Sikh (spiritual), Punjabi and North Indian origins, while embracing musical influences from many parts of the globe including blues, jazz, folk, country and Australian indigenous sounds.
