CR HENRY TSANG
Former Senior Vice-Chairman of the Ethnic Communities’ Council of NSW, and Deputy Lord Mayor of Sydney, 1991 -

You can see the trend that there are more Asian communities that are now part of ECC (Ethnic Communities' Council), and they’re now also involved in terms of community affairs. And I think also there’s a change as well: whereas previously, European communities, so grouped together, to form a Council so that the Council had enough strength to liaise and mobilise and to lobby governments - the Asian community was now also obviously part of this.
